For private events, a $60 non-refundable booking fee is required promptly to secure the booking, with the balance due 3 days before the event. All private bookings require full payment before the event. Invoices are provided for businesses.
I always arrive prior to the booking time to set up. I would need to be placed in an indoor well lit area, with a medium sized table and two chairs provided - I can bring my own table if needed. If the event is outdoors, I will need to be positioned in a covered area with sun, wind and rain cover – ideally under a walled marquee/gazebo. Refunds are not given due to inclement weather, so a backup indoor option is advised.
Face paint is water activated and will wash off with pool parties however glitter tattoos are great for this setting.
If I need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (eg illness), I will let you know ASAP and of course refund any fees received. I can reach out to find a replacement artist to cover the party if you wish (travel fees may apply for other artists).
If more guests require my service than booked for, any extended time and rate that is mutually agreed upon will need to be paid within 24hrs of the event.
I have a police check should you need to see it. Having worked in both the health and early childhood sectors, looking after people is second nature!
Booking Information
Each booking is bespoke as it depending on a range of factors, so by providing me with detailed information for your party/event, I can suggest a booking length and quote you accurately.
I operate out of Auckland - predominantly Central-East. A travel fee may apply dependent upon location.
As a general rule, for private events, in 1 hour I can face paint up to 12 guests. For higher volume public or corporate events, I offer speed-painting where I can paint up to 20 guests per hour with simpler designs. This is charged at a higher rate as more supplies are used. For corporate events and activations - happy to discuss your needs.
Note - I will always suggest a booking length most appropriate for your numbers and setting, as it’s important for me to manage your expectations of what is feasible and realistic. For large events, sometimes more than one artist is required. I have contracting artists able to work alongside me for these. I also trust them to cover me and look after my clients when I’m unavailable for any given event/date.
* I don't paint horror or occult images (zombies, witches, gore, etc), or anything that could be deemed offensive or inappropriate.
