For private functions, full payment is required within 3 days of receiving a quote to secure the booking.

Cancellation:
When a booking is cancelled there is significant loss of income for us as time slots have been reserved at the expense of other potential bookings.

Booking Information

Each booking is bespoke as it depends on a range of factors. By providing us with detailed information for your party/event, we can suggest a booking length and quote you accurately.

Our large team covers most of Auckland, and where possible we will assign artists most local to your event to keep any travel fees (if applicable) to a minimum.

Face Painting By Ana can cater for large scale events where more than one artist is required. Our artists are all experienced and talented and produce work to a very high standard.

For private functions, in 1 hour we can usually paint 12 guests. For higher volume public or corporate events, we suggest speed painting where we can paint up to 18-20 guests per hour with simpler designs.

We also have Twisted Balloon and Glitter Tattoo services available. Up to 30 Quick Balloons (simple designs) or 12-15 Advanced Balloons can be produced by an artist in an hour. Glitter tattoos can be applied by an artist at the rate of around 20 per hour.

We will always discuss with clients the best package options that will suit their event, including a booking length most appropriate for their numbers and requirements.

In terms of setup, an indoor well-lit space is preferred. If we are set up outside for an outdoor event, client needs to provide a safe, covered area (eg gazebo/marquee) protected from sun, and potential wind and rain. Generally we require two regular sized chairs for artist and guest.

Additional Guests:
If more time is required on the day due to additional guests requiring services, payment for any mutually agreed-upon extended time is to be made within 24hrs of the function.

Artist Cancellation:
In the rare event that an artist needs to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (eg illness), another Face Painting by Ana artist will cover where possible. Otherwise, all fees will be refunded.

For corporate or public events, invoices will be issued specifying a payment due-date, and terms and conditions.

  • Cancellation notice 8 days or more from function: $50 cancellation fee per booked artist, per session. 

  • Cancellation notice 4-7 days or more from function:  50% refund of full payment. 

  • Cancellation notice within 3 days of function: No refund given.

Note: No refunds are given where inclement weather makes outdoor face painting unsuitable during an event. An indoor backup option for outdoor events is always advised.
